DRIVER LICENSE TESTING
As of Tuesday, May 26th, the Tax Collector’s Office will be processing driver license testing at the Key West Driver License Office, Marathon Branch Office, and the Key Largo Branch Office.
The procedures are as follows:
1. BY APPOINTMENT ONLY. The appointments will be every hour, starting at 8:00am, with the last appointment at 3:00pm.
2. The customer (and interpreter – if needed) will have their temperature taken prior to the driving test.
3. Everyone, including the employee, will be required to wear a mask.
4. The employee will be required to wear gloves.
5. All windows in the vehicle are required to be rolled down during the driving test.
6. Please arrive 10 minutes prior to your appointment. If the customer is late, they will be required to schedule another appointment. NO EXCEPTIONS!!!

CONCEALED WEAPONS PERMIT
Effective May 27, 2020, our Key West Main Office and Key Largo Branch Office will resume all Concealed Weapons Permit (CWP) services. Recently, we have only been able to process CWP renewals, but we will begin processing new applications and fingerprinting services as well.
The procedures are as follows:
BY APPOINTMENT ONLY. The appointments will be one customer per hour, beginning at 8:00 am, with the last appointment at 3:00 pm.
The customer’s temperature will be taken prior to entering the CWP room
Both the customer and employee will be required to wear a protective mask
The employee will be required to wear protective gloves while taking the customer’s fingerprints
Please arrive 10 minutes prior to your scheduled appointment. If the customer is late, they will have to reschedule. NO EXCEPTIONS!
THERE WILL ONLY BE ONE CUSTOMER ALLOWED IN THE CWP ROOM AT A TIME, WITH THE EXCEPTION OF FAMILY MEMBERS
